Ecopac Health in your Community
General Objective
Improve access to basic health services for rural and vulnerable communities through comprehensive medical outreach days, coordination with institutions and health professionals, and follow-up actions that contribute to the well-being and quality of life of the population.
Specific Objectives
- Identify and prioritize rural communities with the greatest vulnerability and limited access to medical care, medications and hospital services, carrying out needs assessments in coordination with COCODES and community leaders.
- Organize and run community medical outreach days with the support of health professionals, institutions, medical houses and partner organizations, providing consultations, medications and preventive guidance to the population served.
- Follow up with the individuals and communities served, evaluating the needs identified and promoting ongoing support, prevention and referral actions to ensure more timely and sustainable care.
